Winter activities in Grindelwald

44 lifts and cable cars invite you to come and have fun in the snow. The three regions of Grindelwald–First, Kleine Scheidegg–Männlichen and Mürren–Schilthorn open up far over 200 km of slopes, including six to twelve kilometre-long runs down to the valley of various degrees of difficulty.

Over 50% of the slopes are equipped with snow-making machines. Kleine Scheidegg, an el dorado for skiers, lies in the heart of the Jungfrau Region at the foot of the world- famous Eiger north face. This, the largest ski region in the area comprises over 19 modern lifts and 110 km of perfectly prepared runs and therefore belongs to the most popular winter sport region in Switzerland. The region is accessible from both Grindelwald and Wengen.

For winter sport novices and families there is a separate «slow zone» of 2 kilometres in length.
