Organisation

The key to a successful corporate trip is down to the planning and organisation. We work with the host company to ensure that every last detail is considered to ensure that guests and hosts have a stress free trip with the maximum return on investment.

We organise and execute a full itinerary for your stay.

We will meet you at the airport and bring your group directly up to chalet by luxury coach or via Swiss rail.

Drinks and snacks can be served on the trip up the mountain. The private ski rental party at the local Buri Sport is a real hit on the first night. Everyone can relax and meet other guests with a drink and canapés whilst people get their skis and boots organised in a private, hassle free environment.

Skis and boots are delivered back to the hotel boot room whilst you are taken into town to enjoy your first night in resort.

Restaurants are all pre booked. A first night tour of the local bars is a good way to get to know the village.

Skiing and Snowboarding

Our ski guides will ensure that you get the most out of your skiing experience. We can provide a number of ski guides to ensure that everyone is within a group of similar ability. The guides will take the group to the best areas to match that group’s skiing abilities.

For novices, private ski instruction can be arranged. Grindelwald offers a good range of skiing so it is possible for all groups, whatever the level, to start at the same location and all meet up for lunch. At the end of the day people can get together again before heading back to the chalet.

Tobogganing

The night tobogganing is a real highlight for corporate groups. It can be very competitive and is often the highlight of the trip. A bus takes the group up to a restaurant for dinner at the top of a mountain. After dinner there is an 8km toboggan ride from Bussalp at 1800m back down to the village.

The toboggans are great fun and can get up to quite a speed. Fortunately there are stops along the way to regroup and enjoy hot wine.

The Chalet

The 8 rooms in the chalet can be organised into split twins to accommodate 16 guests. Each room offers a very high standard of accommodation with spacious en-suite facilities.

The dining room on the first floor can accommodate all the guests for breakfast and dinner if required. With a large seating area this floor is the focal point in the chalet for the group. Dinner on the final evening is good fun in the chalet where prize giving and speeches can take place. The large flat screen can play the photos and video clips taken by the ski guides and host during the stay.

Hosting Service

We provide a full time chalet host. He will look after you from the moment you arrive to the time you head home. A qualified chef and ski instructor, your English speaking host will take you to the best places on the mountain to match your skiing abilities.

He will take you to the pre-booked restaurants on the mountain and in the village as well as the right night spots. He will also try to get everyone home should there be any late night clubbing.

Dining Options

Breakfast can be taken in the chalet or in the hotel restaurant. Likewise dinner can be served in the chalet or alternatively in one of the hotel’s three restaurants. However, there are numerous fantastic restaurants in the village. Variety is the spice of life. It’s good to get out and enjoy the culinary delights on offer in Grindelwald.

Post Trip

During the trip we organise to take lots of photos and video clips of everyone. From these we can produce a photo/video montage which can be posted on You Tube for everyone to enjoy and show off to the friends and colleagues.

We can also use these photos to produce a very high quality photobook of the trip. This can be personalised with corporate logos and narrative. Produced in conjunction with the host company this is a very impressive memento of the trip.

Larger Groups

Large corporate groups can also be accommodated. There is second chalet, which is a mirror image of Chalet Rotstöcki, together with the rooms in the hotel. The conferencing facilities in the hotel can be used as a private dining for large groups.

Conference Facilities

For those companies looking to do some real work whilst they are in Grindelwald, the hotel has a newly constructed conference facility with all the modern technology you would expect.
